To benefit from our psychological counseling services or to learn more about it, you can make an appointment by phone or come to our unit and meet with our counselor. All our services are free of charge and only available to University of Kyrenia students.

On your first application, you will have a preliminary interview lasting approximately 30 minutes. This is the first assessment session to understand the student’s needs and expectations. During the interview, information about the student’s difficulties, coping skills and current situation is obtained. During this process, appropriate support and intervention methods are agreed upon with the student and a framework is presented on how the counseling process will proceed. The student is also given detailed information about our services.

After the preliminary interview, the counseling process will continue once a week on the day and time determined with the counselor, with sessions of approximately 40-45 minutes. Counseling sessions are conducted in complete confidentiality.

If the appointment is canceled or postponed, PDRAM must be informed in advance. In this way, it will be possible to plan our services efficiently and meet the needs of other clients in a timely manner.
