  2. To apply for PDRAM, you can fill out the online application form on our website or you can make an appointment by visiting our center. You can also request an appointment by phone.
  3. Are the services at PDRAM paid?
  4. All psychological counseling and guidance services offered by PDRAM within our university are completely free of charge.
  5. How does the counseling process work?
  6. After your initial application, a preliminary interview is conducted to assess your situation. Then a counselor is assigned and the counseling process begins. Interviews continue at regular intervals according to your needs.
  7. How long do the sessions last?
  8. Our individual counseling sessions usually last 40-45 minutes. The frequency and duration of the sessions are determined by the mutual decision of the client and the counselor.
  9. How is confidentiality ensured?
  10. All meetings at PDRAM are conducted in accordance with the principle of confidentiality. Your personal information and what you share during the sessions are not shared with third parties without your consent.
  11. Who can receive services from PDRAM?
  12. All students of our university can benefit from PDRAM’s services free of charge.
  13. What should I do before coming to a session?
  14. You do not need to make any special preparations before the session. If your counselor asks you to make special preparations, you will be informed in advance.
  15. Are group therapies organized?
  16. Yes, we organize group therapies, workshops and seminars on a regular basis. You can find information about these events on our website or contact our center.
  17. What kind of problems can I apply to PDRAM for?
  18. You can come to PDRAM with various psychological or emotional difficulties such as exam stress, depression, anxiety disorders, relationship problems, post-traumatic stress, lack of self-confidence and adjustment problems.
  19. Can I get help in emergencies if I don’t make an appointment?
  20. Our center offers crisis intervention services for emergencies. For applications without an appointment, you can get immediate support in emergencies. Please make an appointment, except in emergencies.
  21. What should I do if an appointment is canceled?
  22. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please call or text our center as soon as possible. This way we can make room for another student.
